Description

This was my first complete build, I needed a living room pc for gaming on a 1080p TV. I went with AMD because of cost and I was able to pick up the parts at good prices by being patient while waiting for sales. It has taken me about 6 months to gather everything I needed but the wait was worth it. The Noctua fan wasn't for the case, it was because I needed the cooler to be as close to silent as possible so I swapped the Silverstone fan out. The two Kingston SSD's were slated for raid but I had trouble setting it up with a third (non raid) ssd as the OS drive so they're all running as normal.

Silverstone stated on their web page that the cooler has 58mm of space but with an AMD board it has more like 60mm which is a lot when it comes to cooling. If I was planning on overclocking I would think about a larger cooler but I'm not so I won't.

Other than the raid thing there was no problems and I'm getting good fps on my favorite games with high settings on 1080p.

PS. I made the carbon vinyl decals myself, what do you think?

Part Reviews

Case

Fantastic case for mini ITX, loving my full sized GPU and ample airflow for a quiet living room.

Note for AMD users: the case has room for a 60mm cooler with AMD not 58mm like the web page says.

How'd you make the decals?

robbiejmsn submitter 1 Build 3 points 39 months ago

I bought some auto body vinyl from eBay and printed the patterns that I needed. Stuck the paturns to the back of the vinyl and cut them out with scissors. Easier than it looks.
