Description

Mini Build to play LoL & CO GO

-Small without compromise

-Low wattage = Runs Cool

-no need of water cooling = avoid leak risk

-Fast (SSD the new standard)

Corsair air 240 review: great case, the design is pretty good, keep cool the cpu and gpu, and the size is the same the prodigy, even smaller , for a micro atx this size and no compromise is nice. Easy to build. Only con are the dust filter, they are not the best.

I love this case. I'm happy with my 250D, but I wish I went with the Air 240 instead for that extra space without much bigger footprint.

Cool looking build! I like that you put an extra case fan underneath the 750ti to help with cooling, good idea! +1 and welcome to the Air 240 club!

Did you replace that noctua fan ?

Raze3 submitter 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

yeah I replaced the noctua fan, for a fractal design R2 92mm, both are good, but i prefer the black and white color of the fractal design and it keeps the cpu 2 degrees cooler on idle and 4 or 5 cooler under load, because the noctua is slimmer

why did you go with a non hyper threaded intel cpu? For 10 bucks more, you could've gotten a hyper threaded cpu.

Raze3 submitter 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

I chose the i5-S version because the TDP, isn't that powerful but i only play LoL and CO GO P:

racsorrac 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

Sorry I may sound like a bit of a noob but what does the S mean on 4440S?

Raze3 submitter 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

Hi, dont worry, I'm noob is my first build P: Intel S version is all about the TDP (higher TDP hotter cpu). a normal haswell i5 cpu has a TDP of 84, the S version is just 65. the noctua cpu cooler i chose is pretty small so I preferred a cpu with lower temperature but still a quad core

racsorrac 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

Ohhhhh thank you. What about the T on the end of 4690T etc.?

Raze3 submitter 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

I know the S for lower temps and K for overclocking but I'm not really sure about the T

+1 for first i5-4440s build :)

the reason for the cpu is because the TDP in this i5 cpu is just 65, just 11 TDP higher than i3 cpu, and the noctua nh-l9i is recommended for 65w tdp or lower. the normal TDP for a haswell i5 is 84
