Description

This started off as a Budget build, but after I bought the motherboard, psu, and case I said **** the budget! this is my third build, second time in a Fractal case(love them so much). This PC is meant to be used for gaming(CS:GO, Batman Arkham Knight, Rainbow6, GTA V) mostly. Half of the parts are from Newegg, the others are from Amazon except for the monitor and wireless adapter which are from Best Buy and Fry's. I currently dont have a desk to put my rig but it will arrive soon so I will update this later after I get my desk. By the way Cooler Master really step-up their game, this is my second time using the 212 EVO but damn look at how those bolt arrived!

UPDATE: so I finally got my desk, so I am adding a few more photos. Enjoy

Epic build bro! Question did the white cables come with the PSU?

From what I've seen, you can order the NZXT Hale82 v2 models with white cables.

Sweet ...Do I have to order it directly from NZXT? I mainly order from Newegg

I got the PSU from Newegg, so go for it.

Here is the 550W version, but its sold out: link

If I had to make a recommendation, I would get a different semi/fully modular and pay for cable extensions (but then again, I'm biased as I think they look nicer). I was looking into this PSU a while back and noticed that a few review sites don't think too highly of it (food for thought). 1 2

Yes they did! I wasn't expecting them to be white when I ordered them, I guess I just was not paying attention to it.

turn the cpu cooler around!

Not going to happen, with the fan on a pull setup it will prevent dust build up on the heatsink.

its actually in a push configuration by stock, so right now is pulling air into the center of the case which dosnt help anything when the fronts are intakes.

No it not because I swapped the fan mounts around. This isn't my first time working with the 212 EVO.

I've never used a 212, what are those things in the styrofoam?

Stand offs, screws for different CPU sockets, thermal paste, back-plate, etc. Stuff that usually comes with a non-liquid CPU cooler :D

edit: I own an Evo 212, and it wasn't packaged like this.

I know, the last time I installed the 212 EVO (2 years ago) it was all in a bag.

This is one of the few times I've seen a company stepped up their packaging game after it has become popular, instead of cutting cost. Good job Cooler Master.

Bolts(2 sets)and nuts for the backplate, thermal paste, mounting brackets for the heatsink and for another fan(not included).

Impressive packaging. That stuff usually just gets thrown in a bag.

Nice build. +1

It's weird how the motherboard looks brown in your build but black on the product images.

Cool build! Good choice of RAM ;)

Right I was disappointed when I open it, it messed up my whole color scheme. But at least the board work great.

It didn't mess it up! It still looks great :)

Hey im using almost the same components for my first pc build and i have some questions: does the motherboard is brown or black? does it matter wich way the cpu cooler is facing? will it make contact with the ram if its facing the other direction? also fps on batman arkham knight? (sorry for bad english, not my native language)
