Description

I built this system as a replacement for my 6 year old AMD2 6000+/8800GTX system.

I am using it for 4k Gaming, 3d/4k movies, 4k video editing, and high-res Photo editing.

The PC is getting great frame rates at 4k with GTA on max settings (AA off), same with Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight.

The Nepton 240m liquid CPU cooler was an extremely tight fit in this case. I wouldn't recommend this setup with the same case/mobo combo unless you are ready to play a very hard game of tetris. However, now that it's assembled and working I am very happy with it.

This PC connected to a 55" Samsung SUHD 4k 3d TV. I'm very happy with the display.

The CPU is overclocked by 1.2ghz stable to 4.5ghz.

I have not yet overclocked the GPU (or needed to)

What kinda fps you getting at ultra 4k?

I haven't looked at exact frame rates but it's very fluid with no noticeable drops in FPS. Next time I log into GTA I will see what kind of exact FPS I'm getting. My guess is somewhere around 60 and dropping to 50 during large explosions.

Thats pretty damn good if youre running ultra and just a single 980 ti. Ive seen benchmark videos of DUAL 980 ti's running ultra 4k between 60-70 fps

http://youtu.be/CGUO2r8IvU8 Skip to 3:08 for gta v benchmark.

Not sure, I will have to check the bios, the Motherboard is managing it for me.

  1. I feel that the R4 was the reason your build was so compact, maybe could've gotten a case such as the Phanteks Enthoo Pro (Full Tower) for a little bit more space. 2. The Nepton is a decent liquid cooler, but for a little bit more the H100i could give you around 3 degrees less. 3. The OS limits your performance on some games unlike on Windows 8.1, but maybe your an 8 hater or you need 7 for editing or something along those lines. 4. I agree with Zveir, you need more photos. To top it all off, what a build! Very powerful. +1

Are you getting any screen-tearing or studdering problems with that TV (any games not just GTA)? I really like playing on a big screen, hate the idea of playing at a PC desk and not on my recliner.
