Description

First build for strictly gaming. Half assed the extra LEDs and needs to be cleaned asap.

Only problem is when I had two monitors the gpu would run really loud even idle, quite annoying. Bugged the hell out of me but I guess that just comes with having multiple monitors.

Should've gotten an AMD 7870 or GTX 660ti. Much more worth it than GTX 570.

Yeah the 660ti is $15 more, but more powerful and more efficient.

I had plans on getting a second 570, because 570 sli is cheaper and better than a 590

Yeah get the 600 series, you get more efficiency

Yeah those plans on getting another 570 were before the 600s were available. Probably just going to sell mine and maybe grab a 670, or just the 660ti like you said.

How is this computer working out for you? I am getting almost all the same parts and was wondering if it is a good computer for gaming/multitasking.

I've had it for 11 months now and I can still run every game max with almost no lag, it runs a little hot for a few demanding games like Batman AC and Planetside 2 but its an overall great computer.

Edit: Pretty much built this rig for BF3, can run that game maxed out too. But too bad that game is trash on PC haha.

Spent way too much on the GPU. 7870 is way more powerful for a little less, and for a little more you could've gotten a 660 Ti and WAY more powerful.

No kidding, I got my GPU before the 7870 and the 660ti even existed.

Not a single gigabyte product, I thought that was behind the cleverness of the title...

No that's the name of my rig as a whole, no reference to gigabyte products were intended.
