Description

This is my first ever PC build. I've been wanting a PC ever since I was a kid, but I wanted the best of the best and wasn't willing to settle for anything less.

To me this PC was more than just something to game or work on. I wanted to create an art piece. Something that I can't take my eyes off of. I had to wait until I was in a position to create such a machine and this year I decided to pull the trigger and it was time to make my dream a reality. Little did I know I picked the worst time to buy a GPU and RAM, but I digress.

If you have any questions or comments please let me know!

Thanks!

Gorgeous build. Where art meets pc's. That personal touch is what make a build unique.

I have no prior gaming mouse experience to refer to, but I love it. It has a good weight and the ability to switch between DPI on the fly is amazing. It feels like a very well made mouse and that's my favorite part. I was worried about hitting the side "sniper" button by mistake, but I never do. I recommend it for sure.

Thank you! I'm a neat freak. I spend too much time polishing my desk. Haha

Also if you are going for purely aesthetics then go with razer ornata chroma i think its the best looking keyboard. Images doesn't do it enough justice search a video on it then decide.

I'm also into the performance, also since the keyboard matches my system it is the best looking choice for my setup imo. But I agree that one is hella sexy.

Yea. It does not have as good as performance as corsair keyboards but I was willing to make that compromise for aesthetics.

How big is your table?

54 x 34. I refinished the desk myself and the top is a custom stainless steel worktop. It was purposed for a garage but I loved the look so I ordered it.

Needs more RGB (not), so you seem to like corsair ,how is the K95? my brother has one ,but I just have a regular old K70 ,should I upgrade?

  • 1 point

I've never had the k70, but I watched some reviews and the reviewer mentioned if you have the K70 the upgrade as far as performance doesn't make financial sense. Personally I think its beautiful and if you have the cash to spend for the aesthetics alone it is an awesome keyboard!

Absolutely! I've got my on a WD 5tb but I wanted my os on an ssd so I got that for now and I'll upgrade the storage sometime soon.

How did you mount the cooler in the front of the case? Just wondering, because I heard the case has had issues with the Kraken x62's mounting on top. Thanks!

  • 2 points

The top clearance was an issue with my Motherboard and RAM. I only had the front mount option. The fans aren't as big as the included 140's but it keeps the CPU cool still while overclocked to 5ghz. The rad didn't line up with the fan screw holes but the case had cutouts for the rad so I was actually able to screw it into the case instead of the fans. Which may be normal, I've never done it prior.

What desk is that?

  • 2 points

I built it myself. It was an old junk desk I found on Craigslist and I put the stainless top on it and new hardware and refinished it in black.

How did you mount your radiator?

There are some extra holes in the front of the PC I was able to run the included long screws through and make it work!

Hi there, great build! Just wondering, have you encountered any issues running the Corsair RGB fans and the Aura motherboard? I have an Asus Aura motherboard and GPU but really LOVE those fans. Just wondered if you ran into any problems?

Cheers

No issues at all! If you're getting fans make sure they are the Corsair LL series. They have like double the leds and the fan color doesn't look washed out like the corsair sp fans that came with my case.

One thing to mention, and it may be like this with all systems or I may be doing it wrong, I have my corsair link launch at startup because if I don't the fans stay in display mode. So they are all rainbow effect if I don't have the corsair link program on at startup. Again I may be doing it wrong, but that's my experience
