the 3770K doesn't give much improvement over the 3570K, which is about $100 cheaper; with that money saved, you could've gotten an SSD to complement that 1TB drive.

Well since the CPU was free then why not indeed. Personally I think you'd have been better off with a Hyper 212 EVO cooler for cheaper. Or you could have gone with water cooling for that same price. I've OC'd my 3570K to 4.6GHz and it runs at 51~ Celsius under full load with the 212 EVO though.

Doesn't really matter but I'd have gone with a Z77 mobo. You could have put the $81 from the sound card into a Z77 mobo with good integrated sound. Unless, of course, you planned on using 5 speakers for surround sound. Then you'd need that sound card. Either way though a Z77 would've been my choice since Z68 and Z77 mobos cost virtually the same thing.

Solid build though, I love Zotac's orange fans, haha.

Should have gone with Z77, if you were getting Ivy Bridge. Other than that, looks pretty good...

I get that the cpu was free. I guess I would've just tried to make some cuts to jump to a 670 . . . and as stated z77 would've been preferable.
