My old gaming rig died so it was time to build a new one and do some upgrades. I based the part list off of one of the monthly setups on mmo-champion and made only minor modifications to the suggested build. I also cannibalized a 120mm chassis fan, 2x750GB HDD's and a SATA DVD/RW drive from my old rig. The HDD's I mirrored and will use to save all of my stuff on as I only plan to put my OS and games on the SSD.
The build went slow but fairly well. The only problem I ran in to (other then my terrible cable management skills) was with the Frio. First of all, the thing is massive. I had read reviews that said this and saw photos that put it in perspective but was not prepared for how big it actually was when I opened the box. The second 120mm fan that comes with it is not pre-installed and is a serious pain to get on. You have to wedge rubber soft mounts in to the frame around the heat sink which is a difficult task. I had to use the bracket for the back of the motherboard to shove them in. You then have to pull them through the fan and I had to pull so hard I thought I was going to rip them. Finally the mounting brackets were mislabeled which gave me a mild heart attack when I tried to mount it and thought that it wasn't going to fit (it doesn't actually say it fits a 1150 socket but its the same as the 1156 so I figured it would work). Luckily I found the right mounts in one of the other bags and was able to proceed.
Everything else went great and I can't wait to get her loaded up and start kicking some ***.
