This system started as a pre-built running a MSI A68HM-E33 V2 Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard, an AMD A8-7650K apu, 16gb of ddr3 ram, and some other cheap parts which as you can imagine was pretty awful. I swapped out everything except the storage and the case and went to work piecing this thing together. After I was offered some parts(Ryzen 5 1400, rx580) from a friend of mine I had to pick up a new motherboard and PSU and I like the ones I picked out, it sufficiently does what I need it too. Also switched from running my OS on a mechanical to using a SSD and wow what a difference. Over the recent Black Friday weekend I purchased a Ryzen 7 2700x for a steal at 159.99 which came bundled with the rgb AMD cooler which mostly completed my build. I could still go for another fan to be mounted on top of my rig but for what I do high temps haven't been a real issue yet.
I mainly only use my rig for Overwatch and Dead by Daylight but I do occasionally stream and edit video. All temps listed were gathered using CPUID HWMonitor at base clock speeds.
