Description

i felt like my old computer was running out of date so i decided to sell it and build a new one featuring skylake. My old specs: athlon II X4 750k, radeon HD 7850, 8 gig ram, 1 tb hdd.. I added about 350$ to the old computer i sold. I was initially going to get the 960 but I thought to myself that I could add a little bit more money and get a used 970 and so I did. Got it for $245 on ebay, in fantastic condition and works well. *the cooler master hyper 212 evo fits the case fine if you were wondering. The case is fantastic for the prices. I got it for $40 after mail in rebate. really happy with this build!

Why did you use an aftermarket cooler with a locked cpu?

Cooler and quieter temperatures. I have a cryorig h7 in my rig and it has an i5-6500, because the stock heat sink is loud.
