Description

I am using this computer for moderate gaming and to have an all around awesome computer. Everything worked well together and i recommend this build to anyone who wants a simple+affordable+super capable computer that will last for many years. Before building this computer i already had the headphones, keyboard, and mouse so the total cost of the parts was $1,567.89 after taxes ( Fry's Electronics )

i would LOVE to hear some feedback as this is my first build. Thank you in advanced

-Cameron

I love purple led lights... i think those look elegant in combination with black/silver or black/white builds. Either way, you really did great job, so yea, i would like to see few more pictures from few different ankles and mby one picture of cable management.

I seroiusly hope you got the k version and not the normal one. (That was a mis-input right?....RIGHT?)

Biono 2 points 22 months ago

7600 is better than 7600k because you don't need to buy an expensive mobo and also, the k version doesn't come with a cooler. So it's like 80-100 cheaper in reality

I am not even going to begin how much i shivered when i read this.... You can stick a 7600k in any 1151 motherboard, sure you won't always be able to overclock, but seriously, look at his parts. He bought a Z270 Motherboard, so he already bought the 'expensive motherboard'?!

You seriously are comparing an Intel stock cooler to a water-cooler? This guy literally bought a water-cooler for his CPU. If you buy a high end processor and leave a stock cooler on it then something is wrong XD

Either the 7600 or the 7600k is a good choice, if OP didn't want to overclock or want the slighter higher clockspeed then the 7600 is fine, depends on local stock etc.

no mis-imput here! its the 7600.

Poller 1 point 22 months ago

But then... why did you get a liquid cooler for a non-overclockable processor? (Even the stock air one is fine.) And why did you get a overclockable mobo as well???

LegendEH 2 points 22 months ago

The water cooler in my opinion is useless if you're not going to overclock. The motherboard... well... z270 is ment for overclock. Get a b250 board for less. MUCH less. PSU gets a thumbs up from me. That GTX 1070... is it overpriced? You can get a GTX 1080 new as cheap as $500. I think you can pool a bit more money for an NVMe M.2 SSD.

Overall it's a very good build. (The criticism isn't directed as hate, just some better things to do IN MY OPINION AND NEEDS.)

i will absolutely overclock at some point, like i said this was my first build so i am learning more and more everyday. I paid $400 for the 1070. At fry's they at 1080's for 700 and a 1080ti for 800+. Also, one of the workers told me that same day some dudes came in and bought like 15 graphics cards for bit coin purposes, so i had about 3 to choose from lol..... i think for the games ill be playing the 1070 is perfect, but if they would of had the 1080 for 500 i wouldve jumped on that! also, i didnt know much about the M.2 SSD. my motherboard has a slot for it so i will upgrade to that in the future! thanks for the feeedback :)

LegendEH 1 point 22 months ago

Btw, if you didn't know, you'll have to purchase an entirely new CPU if you want to overclock. Anything from intel with a "K" will work. Thanks for taking my comment as advice.
