Description

I've been a console gamer for almost 12 years now. Before then, however, I would build and rebuild PCs with whatever I could get my hands on. Now I've got the money to build a PC workhorse for all of my gaming and Visual C Sharp needs, I decided to break the mold. Never going back to consoles.

This is an extremely strong gaming computer, the two-way SLI 770s will keep you set for a very long time in terms of gaming. Although, if you were planning on doing things with Visual C Sharp, coding, or any sort of rendering/editing software, you probably should have gone with an 8-core AMD card instead.

Otherwise very solid build!

EDIT: Are those beats headphones I see? Please buy something more cost efficient next time, as $60 turtle beach headphones have 20x better quality than them.

Yea when I first researched I was a little stumped on the cpu. The headphones? HA I would never buy beats. They're my girlfriend's.

why did you type out c sharp instead of C#?(Was it to prevent idiots from saying c-hashtag?)

Nice build, VERY jealous of the two 770s :p

Dang dual 770's what a beast. I agree with the op who recommended the FX-8350 though but if you got the extra funds for the Intel why not? +1

Nice case- mainly cuz it reminds me of my old build :D. But for your setup, you should upgrade to a bigger/better case to have more air flowing in and out. +1 from me though, and +10 for the dog!

I was thinking the same thing. The case is a bit cramped. The front cooler master fan helps tremendously for intake, but the cables probably block airflow in that area. I saw this case on tomshardware.com and it was cheap, so it seemed like a good choice. Any suggestions on a well ventilated case?

With a decent budget, you can get one of the full tower NZXT Phantoms or CM HAF stuff. Otherwise, the Corsair 300/400/500R will be your best bet. But i went with an NZXT Source 530 (which only launched a few months back), and I find it pretty good on the airflow front.

YEAHHAHAHAH 2xGTX 770!!!!!! That's a better deal than getting one R9 290X :D Love it.

Also, how's that mobo working for you? I'm considering that one for when I have money.

The motherboard is great. I tried using the AI suite software and its garbage. I thought after so long maybe software came a long way; I was wrong.
