The PCPartPicker NAS Giveaway (the Sweepstakes) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and >the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Wish I was over 18, lol.

Who doesn't like free stuff???

Too bad I don't really need it else I'd be all over this sweet package.

How many 2.5 inchers can squeeze in there?

I agree with everyone else, thanks for this guys. This site is incredible and has been extremely useful in detailing out builds, not to mention the savings that follow.

Thanks guys!

Why can't us Brits enter then?

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 1 point 69 months ago

Well, the contest is over unfortunately and the prize has been awarded already.

For this particular contest, the sponsors requested it be US only - which makes sense if you think about it, as it was sponsored in part by Newegg (a US retailer).

Running contests legally is actually quite complex as every country has its own laws regulating giveaways. Some make it very difficult, such as requiring bonding, registration (with fees, etc.), and so forth. Just within the US it is challenging enough, as each state often has its own laws to govern things. We're working our way toward expanding contest scope outside the US and Canada, but it takes time. Getting legal advice isn't cheap (or fast), but it's what we have to do to make sure we're doing everything properly.

Wait, I thought these contests were not eligible to residents of Canada. Isn't it just for the US?

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 1 point 69 months ago

This particular contest was only for the US. However, we will likely be running Canadian and possibly joint US/Canada contests in the future.

mattwins14 1 point 69 months ago

That sounds awesome, thanks!
