Our tenth charity: water completion report arrived! Thanks to your support, we were able to fund 2 water projects in Rwanda. More than half of the population of Rwanda lack access to clean and safe water. The Rwandan government contributes a 45% match in funds towards new water projects.

Our ninth charity: water completion report arrived! Thanks to your support, we were able to fund 8 drilled wells and 2 hand-dug wells for 2,275 people in Ethiopia.

We received this back in April, but it fell through the cracks and I forgot to post it. I'm happy to share this with you now. (And we just received two more completion reports that I'll be posting soon.)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Benchmarks

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti are officially available. MSI sent us their new GeForce RTX 2080 Ti DUKE to find out how the new RTX 2080 Ti compares to the previous generation cards. NVIDIA provided early access to the RTX GPU drivers.

 

How do we benchmark?

We use our new automated test architecture, allowing us to create reliable and reproducible test runs.

Three common resolutions were used (when available): 1920x1080, 2560x1440, and 3840x2160. Each test scenario is run a minimum of 3 times. Between each run the system is allowed to cool to idle temperatures. We used the pre-release v.411.51 drivers from NVIDIA for all three cards. Build version and settings are listed with each result below.
