Yea I bought a brand new corsair h50 and the Intel bracket has 3 sockets available in the holes which are 1156, 1366, and 775. No 1155 is there

But, this: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1812295/lga-1155-1156-lga-1150-coolers.html

And the 1155 is the same as 1156, So use the 1156 mounting holes and it should line up perfectly.

Yea i did that and i swear dude the screws weren't aligning with the motherboard at all, you would literally have to bend it a little bit for it to align in the holes

Watch this video it might help you out. I know it's the h55, but the mounting of the backplate is basicly the same. He's pretty good a explaining what precisely to do.

Hope it helps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7aNeIlQssw Installation of Intel is at like 6:10 or something

Yea i know how to install it, its just the intel bracket. None of the holes i use are fitting in the backplate of the motherboard.

Sure you're using the right mounting points? That's labeled 1156?
