0_0 That's hardcore. Someone else on another board recommended getting short cable extensions and having just the visible side of the mobo sleeved by a sleeving service. I don't know how much that costs though.

The time investment of sleeving myself is a big barrier for me but not a dealbreaker. It's mainly the amount of computer downtime I can't afford if it ends up taking more than like, a day.

What do you think? Any idea how much it would cost to get a bunch of cable extensions sleeved? How long would it take to sleeve everything myself?

Here is the thing, you have spent more than 6K on a computer!! (don't sweat it... I would if I wasn't broke ;p). All you can do is go the extra mile... Like Nile from MDPC said, "NO COMPROMISE".

'Lutro0 Customs' is the best I know in the sleeving business. http://modbunker.com/product-category/custom-sleeved-extensions/

You are looking at least $134.94 for extensions. My personal preference is 550 Paracord with 7 strands (because of the matte look in contrast with the glossy look from MDPC or PET) and no heat shrinks (come on!! Who doesn't). But you can get away with less than $100 if you do it yourself. And you can sleeve your entire PSU!!! (The three hanks I said earlier is required if you plan on sleeving a fully modular PSU with all the atx cables, 2 eps cables, 8 8-pin pci-e cables and all the freaking molex and sata power cables you can think of.)

Sleeving the essentials (for your pc) won't take more than 0.5(TURBO-from the movie TURBO)-6(TURBO-before he gets swamped in NOS) hours (this includes 24 pin ATX Cables, 4x 6 pin PCI-E Cables, 8 pin EPS Cable, bathroom breaks or any mess up you create while sleeving) Note: Your sleeving will pick up pace as soon as you pass the third wire. By the time you finish an entire 24 pin atx cable, you will be farting though the other cables faster then a fart master!!

If I may suggest..... http://choosemypc.net/sleeving/?p=545971aedd00b
