so i have 2 psus an EVGA 500W for 43$ and a XFX 550W for 70$ that i got. Which one should i Keep? Im leaning towards evga to save extra money.

this is my current setup. I may want to run SLi in like 3 years or so. also can my processor even handle a sli setup? thanks for help been out of the game for awhile

keep the xfx. either way, you cannot run dual 280 crossfire on this. the psu needed would be a minimum 650 watt.

No. Please don't do that. Corsairs CX PSUs are awful.

that is worse than the xfx you bought in virtually every way. continuous power at temps above 30c is higher on the xfx too. the big number on the label is often a deception. the 650 watt version of the xfx or another good 650 + would be good. though the pci-express bandwidth and the cpu kind of make dualing up the card pointless as a decent chunk of performance is going to be untapped. best thing to do is stick with the 55o watt xfx and upgrade to a better single gpu sometime later.

XFX is a much better brand, OEM (original equipment manufacter) is a higher standard/ quality control
