trying to pick a surge protector that will actually work and protect my pc however I'm not sure what brands to get or even how many joules it should have, my psu is 650 watts,and ideas as to what to look for in a surge protector?

A power supply with surge protection. If the power goes out, all I need is 5-10 mins to finish what I am doing to shut down the system properly. That is how I buy the power supply.
