different cpu cooler (expect about the same performance the h7 is great) slightly cheaper motherboard, much cheaper ram, diffrent 1t hdd (same speeds) a much better gpu (the 960 is like half a 390 lol) slightly cheaper case (still has good fan support) a much more quality power supply (the one you chose wouldnt even run your rig) and a better wireless adapter (you dont need a wired one thats on the motherboard)

My buddy wqs telling me i shoud drop to a 6 core since im only using it for gaming. And find a mother board that can unlock hidden cores is this something u think is a good idea

Unless you are going to be running software that can make use of all 8 cores on the processor you are better off going with an Intel i5.

With your budget, you are, as mentioned, better off going with an i5. This has room to upgrade and just does not include an SSD:
