I'm gonna be receiving $500 here soon. So my PC budget is strictly $500. I need a build that can play BF4 at mid-high 60fps, and hopefully Nvidia. 8 gb RAM mandatory, as BF4 hates anything less and will stutter. Thank you

EDIT: If an AMD rig will run better at the price point, by all means. Send me an AMD list.

Is there a relatively similar AMD CPU build with the 860k for around the same price? Just curious

Yes the Athlon 860K competes with the Pentium G3258.

Do you want to do other things besides game?

Just a couple. Light video editing, and a bit of streaming for some friends

For editing and streaming MOAR CORES is king, so 4 slower cores on AMD instead of 2 Intel. If you have some spare cash, get a 212 Evo. These prices include sales tax of 9.5%.

My sales tax is only 6%, so would that afford me a better PSU in this instance?

Antec Earthwatts are kind of a dated platform, but very highly regarded. 380w is a bit light. There is some space in the budget for one of the following:

Yes, it is a few dollars over, but you do get an i3 and a GTX 950
