Looking for the right parts for a first time build for my son's 16th birthday. We want to do this together as a mom/son project and all the choices are overwhelming. Skyrim, BF3 and 4, Borderlands. I'm trying to keep it at $400 or less because we do need a monitor also. Thanks so much

This is what I came up with. Do you have a windows disc? Cause if your planning to transfer your hard drive in to a new computer you will have boot problems.

Only Reason For Athlon X4 Instead Of Pentium Is Because Of Cores # Being Of Value In Games Like BF4.

So, this is above 400 bucks because I didn't include mail in rebates as they dont always come and not everyone does them. If you would like to lower the price, I recommend getting an Asrock Pro3+ A88X motherboard instead. There isn't much else that can be done as this is the best budget case. If you can pay 30 bucks more than 400, then I think this is good.
