here are the SteamOS Hardware Requirements Processor: Intel or AMD 64-bit capable processor

Memory: 4GB or more RAM

Hard Drive: 500GB or larger disk

Video Card: NVIDIA graphics card AMD graphics card (RADEON 8500 and later) Intel graphics

Additional: UEFI boot support USB port for installation

if you can it would be cool if the mobo was red or a bright color the case should be curvy be nice to have a filters and liquid cooling will last at least over 2 years of hardcore gaming and can be setup for mutable monitors. and was capable of future upgrades if its not possable :( then can i make one under $ 130? please let me know i might not reply any time soon its 12:18 AM so im about to go to sleep:)

Really, your best bet at this price point is to buy something off of craigslist or ebay. Building your own PC only really becomes cost effective above $350.

This is the cheapest thing I would possibly use and expect to work worth a crap. On any HTPC or Steam Box I find that $400 - $500 is the sweet spot.

This is a little more along the lines of something I would suggest. it gives you the ability to dual boot Steam OS and a Windows or Linux distro and have a Kodi HTPC platform as well.

ok thank you if you find a way to make it work let me know by the way i have 5 monitors the keyboard and mouse and i do have a power supply that i buyed from a yard sale for $13 its 400 watts or more i dont remeber i will look at thee power ratings 2mowo
