Hi all :)

I am looking to build a new gaming pc, ive flooged my current one to death over the past 5/6 years.

I take my PC on trains fairly often going to the insomina lans so a pc thats not to huge would be awesome, currently I lug a antec 1200 around on a sack truck which is hard work defending it from crazy old granies hell bent on prodding it with walking sticks!

I love the antecs dust filters that are easy to clean so a case with this feature would be awesome.

I am intending to run dual monitors! (so last decade I know but im slowly catching up with the youth of today!) But this budget is purly for the tower as I will buy a new 144hzh monitor later.

I play a mixture of games fps, moba, rts, mmo and classic old retro games from gog :D

If anyone could give me some good rig ideas I would be grateful since I currently dont have a clue with all the varitations of current grahpics cards.... back in the day it was easy I will have the vodoo 2!

Would like a 500gb ssd and around a 2tb standard hard drive!

Budget: £1500

Location: UK United Kingdom/Great Britain

Use (Gaming, Rendering, etc): Gaming, (would like to edit the odd frag clip video)

Peripherals required (monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc): None

Operating System required: Currently use windows 7 64 bit, but will happily upgrade to windows 10 if it will benefit the hardware.

Went the tiniest bit over budget. My advice on a monitor is to go freesync to go with the r9 390s in this build.

Also with dx12 coming up those cards should get a significant boost in future games.

You could easily save money here and there in this build but I think for the price you're willing to pay its worth getting some high end components.

Just for comparison could someone link me a decent single graphics card build for the same value!

That would be awesome :)

At this price a 980ti is the only single card that could match this performance.
