Do you need an OS? If not then you could get a way better pc.

No I don't and i don't really need a optical drive and if i ever did id just buy one that plugs in by usb, what would you suggest since i dont need a os, and also itd easier to just buy a key online for like 20$ and just install the installation for windows on a usb but thats not needed here.

Wouldn't the power supply barely be enough with the gpu and im not really looking for a ssd right now i may look for one in the future since their going lower in price fast but is the skylake cpu really worth it with how short they've been out or are they really that much better.

Vaguely I've heard of them but isn't a i7 5900k (not too sure on the last two digits) be just as good as it just on a z97 board as a skylake chip if I were to upgrade from a like i5 4460 later on. But thank you for the parts list :D
