I bought the corsair cx 430 because it was $16 with a mir and I learned that it was a terrible psu a that I should get a new one and let this be a life lessons http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10500kr

I was thinking this one I have about $50 in my budget left

I learned that it was a terrible psu

Its not a terrible psu, it just has mediocre performance and is usually always overpriced without MiR's, you got a great deal for it but I would not call it suitable for the build since you shouldn't use a budget psu that isn't a budget build but if you aren't overclocking I would just keep it and wait to upgrade next year, its not going to harm anything.

Yep there was a post on overclockers.net and I misread it, I do want to overclock. I thought I had a little head room between load and continuous wattage.

I would just save up for a decent psu like a 750/850 watt Evga G2 or a 850 watt Evga GS because I wouldn't buy a $50 psu now when you can live with the one you have and get a better one later on.

No need to replace the power supply until it dies or you upgrade and need more power.
