$30 for a 600w psu seems like a great price. Most reviews are either they love it, people whining because it only lasted 3 years, or DOA. Anyone have this and can comment? Or any comments about this?

I'm not sure what you consider whining but I paid extra,at the time, for this power supply that died 3 months after warranty. It ran fine while it did though. its quiet. Maybe I just got a bad one but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

People complaining about DOA I totally get. I also see people being a bit irritated about it dying right after warranty. But if you get a solid 3 years out of it, is there really anything to complain about? Maybe I'm just ignorant to pc parts as this is my first build. I don't see it a reason to give it 1 Egg on Newegg.

After reading that article on hardwaresecrets I'm going to buy this and see how it performs for what I'm building.
