Hi There,

I'm looking to get back into gaming and was thinking about buying a xbox one or a PS4 and said screw that I'm going to get a gaming rig. I'm looking to build a rig that will I will be able to play Fallout 4 without any problems, use Visual Studio 2015 and use as a plex server. No monitor or anything extra needed just the rig. The lower the cost the better, but my max would be around $1,000.00

Thanks for your help,

The Dude

Pretty much the best PC you can get for 1000$ :)

You get a i5 quad core (great for gaming and multitasking), a great cpu cooler, a gtx 970 (a beast gpu and will play games at max settings at 1080p 60fps or even 1440p. Also it is better than the r9 380 stated in the above build) , an amazing motherboard (that supports ddr4 ram and sli if you want to add another gtx 970 in the future to get even more performance), 16gb of ddr4 ram (that will suit you well for gaming and multitasking), a 250 gb samsung 850 evo ssd (for os and games that you play a lot), a 1tb hard drive (mass storage), a great case from nzxt, and a 80+ gold power supply (80+ gold means it is very effecient. Also it is better than the 80+ bronze power supply stated in the above build).

I think that a higher wattage PSU, but still an EVGA G2 would work better.
