Gaming setup for $1200.00?

Budget: $1200.00 U.S.

Location: Wisconsin, USA

Use: Gaming

Peripherals Required: Everything but the keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

OS Required: Will be adding my own copy of Windows 10

That's $1200.00 including estimated shipping costs, but excluding the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I have basically 0 computer knowledge as far as hardware goes. Just want something that can handle games like Fallout 4, Metal Gear, Skyrim, etc. I also do a lot of online gaming with WoW, LoL, SC2, etc. I'll obviously need speakers (Cheap ones are fine, as long as they work), CD drive (not sure if it comes with one?) and a way to access the internet (I can plug in via ethernet if I don't need any extra components, otherwise I'll need a basic wifi thing). I'm new here, and as I said, I have 0 tech knowledge, so the communities assistance would be awesome! Thanks in advance guys! <3

Oh, also! The monitor I already have is a Acer G246HYL bmjj 60Hz 23.8" Monitor, and I'd like to be able to run my games on max settings. Not sure if the monitor changes what parts I need, or whatever. Figured I'd let you know, though!

1200 can get you a very, very solid build. Latest i5 processor, a card that'll max 1080p, all inside a solid little budget case with great and reliable parts.

Worth noting that the motherboard has onboard ethernet, like almost all motherboards do. If you want wifi capability, you can either add a USB dongle or a pretty inexpensive PCIe card (you'll still be very much in budget if you want to add one)
