Hello, My current computer is gettting old and can't run many games any more so I am deciding to buy a new one except I have no idea what I am doing because my uncle put this one together. I would like a case with a window as well. ALSO-for the graphics card, my uncle says that GeForce GTX cards are better than Radeon cards. Is this true? does it matter? THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!!!!!! Budget: 1000$ MAX Location: Detroit, Michigan Use (Gaming, Rendering, etc): Gaming Peripherals required (monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc): None required Operating System required: I need some version of windows but I have heard they are all bad after windows 7

I have Windows 10 Home...its not bad, it boots up much faster than Windows 7. The only issues I'm having with it is not being able to update and play Star Trek Online, but its probably due to the age of my laptop (2009 Sony Vaio), which was barely able to play it anyway.
