So, me and friend of mine are attempting my first hoe pc build. I don't want anything too spectacular. Will not be doing any heavy gaming on it, maybe a couple of lower spec games such as Rust etc. Will be more of an office type PC. Will need everything apart from keyboard, mouse and monitor!

If I can get the price as low as possible it would be even better

Cheers!

That is what I would build.

If you want to make that build cheaper you could do it this way without losing performance, and the quality of the parts is still perfectly acceptable, simply not as nice.

Or any combination that works for you from the above, mix and match lol

Sorry if that is a bit intense for a first response lol

I love the intensity of it haha! Would all these be easily upgradeable going forward if I wanted to in a year or twos time? Would probably not go for the dirt cheap one. Would the £400-£470 versions of these be able to cope with any high end gaming if I was to in the future?

Any of the i3 builds are good for upgrades. If you think you will make a serious graphics upgrade, particularly to a current AMD R390 or higher I would get a higher output PSU (circa 600W)

But in theory you can move on to any current Skylake chip with the i3 builds. You wouldn't be able to overclock without upping the motherboard to a Z170, so 6600K and 6700K chips are out (these are the only chips you overclock BTW) without the upgraded board and that will be £90.

As for gaming, the i3 + GTX 950 is perfectly good for med-high @1080p. If you want high - ultra you could move the graphics up a notch to the GTX 960 or R9 380, both will be fine with the superflower PSU I recommended by again more wont hurt. For £4 more you can get the xfx 550W Pro B9 which is a great unit for the money.
