Should I get a new case!?

Akuratron

Well, my current build is epic in terms of budget gaming in HD resolution and high/maximum settings, but I'm worried about my case. For Christmas, I could grab a new case for it to be quieter and for a bit better airflow, but I could also get a hyper 212 EVO cooler and some outstandingly epic Steam Games on the Holiday sale. What do you guys think!?

>Things to keep in mind:

-Current case's side fan is sorta loud, but that doesn't really bug me cause the ambient noise in my house/room is loud either way, so don't really consider that.

-Air flow is already really good in current case, even with my very poor cable management.

-Yes, I obviously dust the case once in a while.

-I do not overclock and do not plan on it; I'm a simple PC gamer.

-Obviously, I'm mostly aiming to get a legitimate Computer life with this... meaning the biggest reason I want to know if I need a new case is if this current case looks like it will drastically shorten the life of my PC... if it only will shorten the life by a bit, or not at all... no big deal then, if it seems as if my computer will blow up in half a year (lol), then obviously, I'm going to want to get a new case. I plan for this build to live at least through High School and hopefully through my college years, I am currently a Sophomore in High school.

Thanks in advance for your time/ help guys!!!!

As long as you have good airflow in the case there really isn't a need to upgrade the case. Looks on the other hand....that is personal preference.

I took a look at the pics and do you not have a rear exhaust fan?

I'm pretty sure I do have a rear exhaust fan... and thanks for the opinion!

I would definitely get a new one because you have a really old case. Also, there are some good cases going for cheap from time to time. Xmas should be perfect for snatching a good deal on a great case.

Thanks, I will think about it... depending on deals I can get.

If it works and you don't plan to expand, no need to change it. However if you're having problems with overheating/dust build up, or if you think it is just plain *** ugly (not saying it is, just giving a reason), you might as well get a new one. It probably will improve your airflow, and it should allow for easier upgrades.

Yeah thanks, but I really don't know I could get a like $50 visa card for Christmas plus stuff from other relatives= around $100 to spend on the steam sale, and perhaps get a new game like watch dogs or gta v if it comes on Pc (both games looked freakin' awesome... omg...)
