Concerns about picking the right case

Hello all.

I should start out by saying I'm incredibly inexperienced and that I am about to order parts for my first build. I think I have everything else in order, with the last thing that I'm having trouble with is finding the right case. I'd definitely like to have a full tower, or something close to that size for the sake of airflow as well as having options to expand on if I ever need to. My build currently doesn't use water cooling, so I don't necessarily need anything catered to that quite yet. So far the most I'm looking for is something with plenty of room(either full or mid tower), room for an optical drive and an SSD or two, and space to expand into for less than $150.

The Corsair 750D and the Enthoo Pro were the first two I looked at, and for the prices they both seemed like good choices. After doing a little research into the two I'm a little disappointed to find that the two companies are seriously lacking in quality control. Hearing more than enough complaints about exceptionally poor packaging as well as cheaply made parts (the windowed side panel on the Enthoo Pro, for example) is definitely discouraging. At the time of writing this I've started looking at the Thor V2, but beyond that I haven't done much research into the mid tower cases.

Here's the build I have in mind: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9YPjzy

Let me know if you guys have had good experiences with any of those cases, and any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why are you getting 16gb of RAM? Also, you should get the r9 390 instead.

I'd just go ahead with either the Enthoo Pro or 750D airflow (which is $125 right now). I bought a 750D in late 2013 and they had just revised the mobo standoffs. sure to this day the case has no rabber pads under the psu and the bottom mount is still derped out and has no dust filter, but QC problems are hit and miss. I ordered an Enthoo Luxe straight from Phanteks the day it came out. not only did my case come without scratched window, nothing was messed up with it. maybe that was a special case though as I was in communication with their rep on ocn the whole time and my case box included a bag with rubber corners for the included case fans, something I asked about specifically. the point is you may or may not have any problems. every case company has qc issues to some extent. plenty of fractal, rosewill, etc. users can tell you that too. in any case, I revised your part list with a better platform, a better cpu cooler, a more reliable HDD and a better GTX970. it's cheaper too.
