I have a 1250-1500$ CAD budget build and i'm wondering what my options are. I'm new to this pc building and I would greatly appreciate to those who help me figure things out.

The pc is mainly for gaming and steaming and completing school work which requires no stress on the pc.

This would be good for doing games, streaming and school work. Well, depending on what your school work is. Could also change the i5 into an i7 if needed for high end video editing/rendering. Or could switch the Seagate into a Blue Western Digital 1TB if prefer something else that is also dependable but not needing that much storage. Either build is good but basically the answer is, if you don't need something that works with high end video and rendering purposes, go with the i5 build.

Thanks alot. I changed it to i7-6700k and added a bigger power supply because it looks like 550W is not enough if i ever wanted to add another graphics card.

You are most welcome. And yes 550w is only good enough for a video card that requires it. Less powerful video cards that can SLI or Crossfire tends to need 650w. Any video card that is high end will need 750w or 850w for SLI or Crossfire. I hope all goes well for you intended build!
