Corsair AF fans are mediocre in terms of performance/noise ratio. You can get Coolermaster SickleFlows for a much lower price and better performance/noise.

I would recommend getting a Cryorig H7 instead of a 212 EVO. Cryorig h7 outperforms, smaller, and quieter than the 212 EVO for about the same price point. Also has an easier installation mechanism compared to the 212 EVO.

To answer your question. If silence is a huge factor then the H440 is better since it has noise dampening materials(Airflow is decent). If airflow takes more precedence over silence, then the Air 540 would be better as there is better airflow within the case.
