Splitting question

So if I get a Corsair CS450M +Gold, there are only four modular power cords. I currently plan on running 2 hard drives, a dvd drive and possibly one/two more fans than my mobo has connectors. If my total wattage is ~300, I should be fine adding more hard drives in the future via a power splitter right? (my mobo has 6 sata ports - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-a78me35)

Thanks for any help!

Was going to be something like this. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XtkyhM

However, over lunch found the Corsair CS550M +80Gold for 39.99 so I just went with it.

That PSU is not great, but certainly isn't bad. For that PC and that price it was a good get. You will be fine with 6 HDDs.
