Positioning PC horizontally

I'm looking into building my first gaming PC, however it would need to fit on a to stand so ideally I need something which isn't to big and can lay horizontally without losing performance, and maintaining temps

Are there any good cases for doing so? I'm looking at i5 6500, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 970

Don't know how big would be "too big", but here's a few: https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/case/#t=1

You could also probably just take any "normal"/tower case and put it on its side.
