Hello. Im an engineering student, i need to build a pc. I use solidworks and labview, and i have a project to link between them, so i was wondering what should i buy, also i work as a freelancer "not that often" in 3d modelling and graphic design, i cant buy xeon processors nor quodro gpu cards, so i was wondering will gtx 970 will handle my work or should i go with gtx980, for now i need a pc that wont exceed 1400$. Also would i feel any difference between i5 and i7? I would play games on it too. Thank you

Note: No monitor needed No storage needed No OS needed

Why not?

A FirePro W5100 would be better than either in solidworks.
