1250$ (cad) budget, what would you do?

I'm building a pc for the first time and I have been researching for a while but I haven't been able to stop thinking about if I could do better for the money. So instead of stressing over benchmarks and reviews. I'd like to call upon the collective knowledge of the pc community and ask, 1250 Canadian dollars, no windows, no monitor, no peripherals. What is the most powerful gaming/streaming pc you can build. With reputable brands and no mail in rebates, no jank parts and a 13% tax is a thing too :-( thanks for any help!!
