Hi, I'm looking to build my first gaming PC for under $500.00. Any help would be great.

I would like to be able to play WoW, LoL, Diablo, FO4, BF4 on high settings. I would also like to be able to add parts to it down the road.

Here's a build with windows included. It's a bit better than a ps4 if youneed something to compare it to.

This is great. Thank you. Would I have room for upgrades down the road?

If you really wanted to upgrade, I would suggest spending the extra money for one of the i3 6100 builds below. With this build, you only have the option to upgrade the video card later on. The 860k is the best cpu for that socket, and it is beaten by intel cpus. BUT, it shouldn't give you problems in games for the time being.

Will maybe do medium/high, but leaves an upgrade path on the 1151 Skylake socket.

For this build I'd look into the Asrock or MSI mobos that enable non-Z overclocking.

I did look into them.

Z170 boards worth bothering with start at $110.
