windows 7 question.

wheres the cheapest place to get windows 7 home premium? it used to be on listed on this site for around 89-100$...now all can find is one from outlet pc for 179$...and that's OEM, not a retail version...i don't mind OEM at all, but its not worth 179$

hell, i even cringe at the though of paying 100$ for a OS that's almost antiquated.

one last question, i don't have a optical media drive, can i load an OEM version of windows onto a usb?

Gotta be careful. Many of those are dev keys that will be deactivated in 2-3 months.

I still do not recommend this at all. You got lucky. Over at Tom's we see threads all the time asking about why their key was deactivated and they always have bought one of these cheaper keys.

YEah, and those are all probably just rating due to fast shipping and a product that works immediately. Amazon reviews have nothing to do with the actually quality/reliability of a seller/product. This is well known.
