Hello, I want to build a computer that is relatively cheap, but small something similar to the Alienware Alpha. I would like it to be around the same level as a PS4 but within a budget of $500 CAD. I want it to be a small computer and one of the cases I actually really liked is the Azza Z Mini ITX Tower Case. Could someone build me something within that case that is relatively cheap as I am selling my PS4 and trying to put most of that money towards a new PC.

Thank you,

This is as close to $500.00CAD as I could get using the case you like and trying to use the best GPU in this price range.

All the best with your build!

Hey Barnabus when I look at the builds you made it says there is a compatibility issue with the motherboard and the case, the case I like isn't SUPER important, I just want something small in size similar to the alienware alpha.

The incompatibility's are not huge issues IMO. What this means is you will not have a USB 3.0 port at the front of your computer case it will run at USB 2.0 speeds up front however you will have two USB 3.0 Slots in the back. so you still have USB 3.0. The Bios update is a possibility but still nothing that would cause this not to work just fine, it would be as simple as getting the update. Not uncommon to see this at all. Hope this info helped.

Over budget, but about as cheap as you are going to get.

Yeah the budget is just kinda a rough estimate, never build a computer or ever had a good computer to really know haha. Is the AMD worth it or should I pay a little extra and get the intel 3?

What if I was to get this case, instead since it already comes with a power supply... Apex DM-317-A MicroATX Slim Case w/275W Power Supply

I think that its a little to low watt to reliably power this computer, I would also say a 100-150 watt margin over any build is a good idea. Also in regards to Cases that include PSU's from what I have read and been told they are not reliable and its best to stay away from them in most cases. If you are willing to use a case that works and is budget oriented you could put a few dollars into other parts of the computer or just save a few dollars.

Here are the same two examples but using a different mini ITX Case. Also this allowed the budget to stay just under $500.00 for the first build and increased your ram to a single 8GB stick, makes it easy to add one more stick of 8GB in the future.

The second build is now at $550.00 and with a pretty powerful GPU at this price range, however it is $50.00 over budget.

Oh also thought I would mention the incompatibility with the size of the Video card is no real issue as you can remove a few drive bays to make room and will still have room for hard drives, SSD if you wanted to add any in the future.

Here is a link to how this case looks and it shows them with drive bays removed to fit larger cards for reference.
