I am here looking for a cheap (<$300) upgradable computer that can play some light games such as cs go, minecraft ,AOE etc. I do not need the best performance now but the ability to upgrade it into anything I want.

Budget:<$300

Location:United States

Use (Gaming, Rendering, etc): Gaming, online schooling

Peripherals required (monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc): none

No Operating System required

Sorry for the typos I'm on my tablet haha

Realistically you're better off saving up more money because you will just be wasting what money you do have on a screen and keyboard you may hate eventually. Here's a PC for $300, my advice to you is go to your local thrift stores and find a keyboard and screen for like 2 bucks.

Save another hundred or so then call back. You're under budget for anything that could call itself a "gaming" PC.

Skylord I feel like you are more than capable of coming up with a build. I've seen you around before.

Haha thanks. I just wanted to see if anyone could come up with a better build. It never hurts :-)

If you want upgradability, you shouldn't buy a case with a likely terrible PSU inside that you can't take out.

I should have looked that up before having a knee-jerk reaction against built-in PSUs. Sorry! Not bad.
