why fear when the master is here?? Hi dude, long time no see..

I think the B150 limited to only 8 pcie lanes might be a li'l iffy..??

Why would that be iffy? The GPU will be connected to the PCIE controller on the CPU, a full 16X 3.0 connection right to where it counts.

Everything will be just fine ;)

Right, that's the ADDITIONAL PCIE lanes provided by the chipset.

The CPU itself has a PCIE controller on it, support 16X lanes at 3.0 spec. They are mapped directly to the first 16X slot on the motherboard.

Please go look at a block diagram for the 1151 platform.

Got it dude, thx for pointing it out..

Very succintly put by tomshardware, " It supports One PCI-E 16x 3.0 slot and additional 8x PCI-E lanes off the Southbridge divided up over the additional slots"..

Why the change in MoBo.?

I dont like toshiba drives. They are very LOUD! Other then that. That GPU is a nice bang for the buck. Nice find on fully mod PSU. You know your stuff.

Why the change in MoBo.?

Because the B150M Pro4 at superbiiz, with shipping, was almost $90, where the H170M Pro4, an even slightly nicer motherboard, was only $85 at newegg with free shipping.

I dont like toshiba drives. They are very LOUD!

I have heard loud and quiet drives from every brand.
