No, you really need a higher wattage unit. While it technically could, it is not a good idea. Also, if you do decide to do it, absolutely DO NOT over clock the CPU.

All right that's what I though. Well I hope the shop will let me return the PSU as it was a gift.

If you are going to overclock I'd recommend something 500w+ from antec, XFX, Seasonic, eVGA (G2,B2,GS)

I have a 450W PSU (80+ Bronze) with i5-4460 and Gigabyte G1 Gaming R9 380 4GB is that okay? Should I upgrade it?

Which PSU exactly? If it is quality, no issue. If it is junk, replace ASAP.

XFX ProSeries - I'm fairly sure it's manufactured by SeaSonic?

its borderline. 450w is a potential disaster even with a decent unit. downright dangerous on a sub par one though.

You will need a 600w-650w-ish worth of wattage

A good 550W power supply would work.

I would have thought it be a little on the low side, but so long as you don't raise the voltage too much you should be fine, however the next time you have money I would get a new one. But don't wait on a new power supply to get the build done! It will still be fuinctional.
