Looking for an "Excel"ent pc for work. I am trying to convince my boss which just so happens to be my father against buying me an over priced iMac for work. So looking for suggestions on a build or even a pre built with roughly same cost or cheaper. The convenience of the iMac is that it is small and does not take much desktop space. (gross). Built my first rig a few years ago and I love it. Still standing strong.

Work consists of emails, excel, some media stuff. I do make flyers and looking to do some photo stuff. The excel files we have are really huge. The macbook pro I am currently using is still running great but its not a desktop and its from 2009. Its showing its age.

Edit:"Need a monitor too!

Please no talk of Mac is crap blah blah windows is better.

Thanks!
