Any way to build a good pc that doesn't cost a grand.

Hello all, new to the forums. It's been a long research ride, but long story short, my pc can no longer play new games coming out, even on minimum graphics. At first, i thought all i needed was a nice new graphics card, but after more research, i learned my processor was old and worn too, and that it would bottleneck a new graphics card. so then, the goal was get a new processor and card, around 200$ each, but then my computer's power supply wouldnt be able to take it.

Long story short, My current pc can't play new games, and i need a new one. However... I look at builds that include the radeon 380 or even lower and NEVER see a build below 1000$. this is absolutely too much for me at this point in life. However, this is very saddening, as I want to play the new great things coming out, like overwatch coming out this summer!

So i ask you all, do any of you have builds around 600$ that play games such as just cause 3, witcher 3, fallout 3, ect. at decent graphics settings and good fps? I'm fine with lowering graphics, but when it's to the point where i lower the setting so darn low it looks like it's a ps2 game (a bad one) it just isn't fun to play.

I'm really bumming out here and looking for help. I want a gaming pc that will last me for years to come, playing games at a comfortable speed, but i can't throw around one thousand dollars. I need to get a car, save for school, etc.

So, please. If anyone here knows of a build around 500$, 600$ MAXIMUM (If you can please keep it around 500, 600 is only i'f i can get a guarantee that it will play decent and LAST. although i know this is probably wishful thinking.)

I suppose i would want it to play as well as a console, for example, fallout 4, wither 3, just cause 3, gtaV, i would want to run at least over half as well as they do on a console.

I guess don't include it, the price will probably turn me off if you do. No way around the extra 100$.

later on just get a cooler like the cryorig M9i which goes for around 25 bucks and overclock it. The motherboard just needs a bios update to enable overclocking locked cpus

Sweet list! It would be great to see a PSU with better voltage regulation, but considering the price I'd just be splitting hairs. I'm very impressed
