Low budget quality build.

I need a good gaming rig around the budget of $630 or so. With an optical drive and OS. I wasn't specific enough before and others didn't add em in.

My vote would be this.

The GTX 950 is more than capable for 1080p now and represents great bang for buck without having to spend so much that you feel you need to keep it if something awesome comes out soon (my rationale for buying one anyway). The fact that you have the gaming CPU of the moment means that a simple GFX card upgrade is all you need.

If you need to drop it down to budget you could do this.

It makes the upgrade to 16GB RAM cheaper (I think) and the PSU while fairly low output is more than enough for now but if you did a serious graphics card upgrade I probably would change it. The 500W EVGA is not that great either way so I would probably plan on a PSU upgrade anyway.

i think an 860k + 380 would be a better choice than an i3 with 950, whatever you think, maybe better to get i3 for upgrade-ability

I would go with the i3 and 950....

then upgrade to a 970/390 in the future unless this is good enough
