Don't need an OS and I'll worry about peripherals later (Corsair K70 and a mouse). I'm planning on overclocking.

even room for 2 gfx cards, i would swap the asus 970 for the evga superclocked but awesome either way.

There is a big flaw though, looks like he will OC the CPU, but the NEX has pretty loose voltage regulation, so not too solid there.

I can agree to that. I wouldn't double up the GFX cards on the NEX but the NEX can handle overclocking, just dont go crazy on it.

Yeah, but it would have been more beneficial to the Topic poster if you mentioned that, just saying

The motherboard has a pretty good voltage regulator circuit so that would offset that a bit. Still should be changed anyway.

Excellent - thank you! Had a comment about downgrading the 970 to a 950 and then upgrading when PASCAL comes out.

Any thoughts on this?

Depends on how you would like to spend you money, i would just build the PC, but not buy a GPU until pascal comes out

I was actually thinking that myself when I just found out about Pascal.... That certainly makes sense.

Ok.

Cpu cooler- the cryorig H7 gives 10% better cooling compared to the 212 evo.

Video card- i would go amd R9 390, but if you want nvidia, i would suggest evga superclocked, or MSI over asus strixs.

Power supply- NEX has loose voltage regulation. It might kill the CPU if your not careful. 650 watts is almost overkill too. I would suggest evga superNOVA G2 650. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20650y1

That's great - thank you! I'll have a look at those!
