Wanting to build a new gaming PC! (obviously)

Budget: 1500-2000

Location: New York City

Use (Gaming, Rendering, etc): Gaming

Peripherals required (monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc): Already have Monitor, keyboard, mouse, Optical Drive, a extra 1tb hard drive.

Operating System required: Already have windows 7 cd, So i would install that. I then would download the windows 10 for free.

Okay I built two computers in my life, without really knowing so much about them. But my last build worked none the less, Built 4 years ago with 550ti. I DONT intend to overclock. As for right now, I dont intend to play on 4k monitors. I do have a nice 27 inch 1080p. Also, I would to somewhat "Future proof" if that makes any sense.

I also made a couple part lists, It says compatible, but I wasn't 100 percent sure. Thanks for your help! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ND3qTW

Hugely overkill for 1080p gaming (even 16gb ram is overkill), but it'll be about as futureproof as it can be. The power supply is top of the line and has enough headroom to support future SLI, which you'll want to do when you move onto 4k. Though by that time, the new NVidia GPUs will be out and will probably be a much better choice for 4k

Overkill like fellways'. You could go for 8 gigs of ram, but 16 gigs will last a very long time. Overclockable motherboard just in case you want to get into it, SSD for futureproofing and super fast boot times, a power supply that has some wiggle room for upgrades, and a monster graphics card.
