Below is my current desktop PC.

First problem, it cannot tackle games like FarCry 4 or ARK that I like to play. Second problem, the CPU fan is deafening.

I'm wondering if an upgraded Graphics card and cooling system are in order, or if it would be better to save up and buy a $1000-1500 machine in 6 months D=

Current upgrade budget would be $400.

Current Specs: Motherboard: P5Q-E/WIFI-AP (CPU Socket LGA775, Chipset Intel P43) CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series (512mb) Memory: [8GB] 2 x 2GB PC2 6400, 2 x 2GB KVR800D2NGK2/4G Storage: WD5000AAKS PSU: CoolerMaster RS-550-PCAR-E3 Case: CoolerMaster RC-690-KKNI Noisy Fan: http://www.ixbt.com/cpu/coolx/z9700nt/fanlabel.jpg

Yup definitely scrap though the CPU, Mobo and RAM might be nice to keep a hold of as a footnote in what was once pretty damn good

I say save until you have enough to buy a really good pc, there are new technologies coming out all the time, and by then, pc parts will be much faster and better.
